Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and workspace name. When you purchase credits we pass your payment to DodoPayments — we do not store card details. When you use the product we log credit transactions and AI run costs.

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate your workspace, send transactional emails (billing alerts, weekly reports, outreach), and improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Creator data

Creator profiles sourced via our platform are fetched from public social media APIs. We store them in your workspace database. In BYODB mode, this data lives entirely in your own Airtable base or Postgres database — never on Cretoscope infrastructure.

4. Third-party services

• DodoPayments — payment processing. Subject to their privacy policy.
• Zoho SMTP — transactional email delivery.
• SocialCrawl — public social media data API.
• Anthropic Claude — AI for brief generation, outreach drafting, and reports. Prompts include creator handle and campaign context only.
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly website analytics. No cookies, no personal data collected.

5. Data retention

Your workspace data is retained until you delete your workspace. On deletion, all accounts, campaigns, briefs, and outreach data are permanently removed. Credit transaction records are retained for 7 years for accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@cretoscope.com. We will respond within 30 days.
